Scripture

Psalms 128: 1-4 NASB1995
(1) How blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways. (2) When you shall eat of the fruit of your hands, you will be happy and it will be well with you. (3) Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine within your house, your children like olive plants around your table. (4) Behold, for thus hall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.

Prayer Points

Lord God,  our loving Heavenly Father, I am so grateful for your design of family. You are the head of the church nourishing each of us, the entire body, holding us together by the joints and ligaments, ensuring that the growth that is happening in us is growth that only comes from you. (Col 2:19). Thank you Papa God for rooting us and establishing us IN CHRIST where we have put to death the deeds of the flesh, all immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, greed, and idolatry. We also have put aside all anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from our mouths. We promise to not lie to one another since we have put aside the old self with its evil practices. We receive the joy and peace we have IN CHRIST as we have put on the new self, who we are IN CHRIST. We choose to put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, bearing with one another, forgiving each other, just as our Lord has forgiven us. Beyond all these things, we put on love, in order that we will be bonded together in perfect unity. In your name we pray, Amen.

Action Points

  1. Write out vows made to God of your love and commitment to Him, repenting of any attitudes and/or behaviors that do not honor Him.
  2. Remove all items in your home that compromise your commitment to God.
  3. Seek the Lord, wait on Him for His plan to establish His Peace and Love in your home. Once HE has shown you His plan, write it down.
  4. As the Holy Spirit leads, choose a verse you will post above your door posts. See Deuteronomy 6:6-8
