President Biden and his administration released statements emphasizing their commitment to end “conversion therapy” worldwide. Their statement today is an ideological and religious one, where they believe and proselytizes their belief that people ARE BORN LGBTQ+ and that TRYING TO CHANGE is harmful. Even though science presently cannot prove one is born gay, their faith compels them to say it is so. Historically their ideology and government objectives regularly attack faithful Christians who leave the LGBT lifestyle and identity to follow Jesus and testify of His grace which transforms.
And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. – 1 Corinthians 6:11 (NIV)

[….] Some governments continue to classify LGBTQI+ individuals as having a medical disorder or permit the use of so-called “conversion therapy”—a dangerous and discredited practice that blatantly violates human rights and causes significant harm, including high rates of suicide-related thoughts and behaviors among LGBTQI+ youth. [….] Last June, I signed an Executive Order directing my Administration to work to prevent the use of so-called “conversion therapy” in the United States and around the world. [….]
SUMMARY OF INTERAGENCY ACTION PLAN TO COMBAT SO-CALLED “CONVERSION THERAPY” PRACTICES GLOBALLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH E.O. 14075
[….] Executive Branch departments and agencies to “address so-called conversion therapy around the world…the Secretary of State, in collaboration with the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, and the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, shall develop an action plan to promote an end to its use around the world.” Experts from those four agencies worked together to develop a comprehensive and cross-cutting plan to respond to these directives and have begun implementing the action plan. EXECUTIVE ORDER ON ADVANCING EQUALITY FOR LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL, TRANSGENDER, QUEER, AND INTERSEX INDIVIDUALS
[….] My Administration must safeguard LGBTQI+ youth from dangerous practices like so-called “conversion therapy” — efforts to suppress or change an individual’s sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression — a discredited practice that research indicates can cause significant harm, including higher rates of suicide-related thoughts and behaviors by LGBTQI+ youth.
